RSS Worker Files Defamation Suit Against Digvijay Sing

Allahabad: An RSS volunteer has filed a defamation suit against senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh for his reported remarks against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh last month.

The suit, under Section 500 of the Indian Penal Code which pertains to punishment for defamation, was filed in a local court on Thursday by RSS volunteer Sunil Kumar Singh.

Singh had alleged the Congress General Secretary on July 18 had called the saffron outfit a “bomb-making factory”, reports of which had appeared in newspapers the following day.

The petitioner had said that in the statement made in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh, Digvijay Singh had also accused the RSS of “spreading terrorism in the country” which had “deeply hurt members of the nationalist organisation”.

Yesterday, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Anuj Kumar Dubey, while admitting the suit, fixed September three for commencement of the hearing, VHP district unit president Pawan Srivastava, a witness in the case, said.

  1. Mere defamation case will not do.RSS will have to launch nation wide campaigns against such pseudos. There are many.
BAUDHIK VIBHAG should prepare a detailed list of such persons, who oppose RSS with ulterior motives.List should include persons like Dilip Padgaonkar,Harsh Mander,Tista Setalvad,Arundhati Roy,Kamini Jaiswal,Aruna Roy,Kingshuk Nag and many others. We should list down their agenda, their foreign connections and their futile rants against RSS and its affiliates. Then share their misdeeds with largest number of Hindus.
Many in RSS have become familiar with internet and social media. They should use these media to counter the false propaganda against RSS.
