Bengaluru: Vishwa Hindu Parishad Kshetriya Sanghatana Karyadarshi Sri Keshava Hegade (63) passed away due to cardiac attack on July 5, 2023. Keshava Hegde was born on March 15, 1960. After his completion of BA degree, from 1982 he dedicated himself to social service as a full-time Volunteer of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. In 2005, he became pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Starting his social activities from Chikkamagaluru, he became Organizing Secretary of VHP Bengaluru Mahanagar, Vibhag Sanghatan Mantri for Tumkur District, Prant Sanghatan mantri, Kshetriya Satsang Pramukh, Kshetriya Dharmacharya sampark Pramukh and then from 2018, he was serving as Kshetra Sangathan Mantri of Bengaluru Kshetra. Shri Keshav Hegde has made a great contribution to make Vishwa Hindu Parishad active in Karnataka.

He was also an active participant in Ayodhya Ramjanmabhoomi Andolan, Protect Ram Setu activities, Datta Peeta protests, freeing Hindu temples from government controls, Awareness programs related to love Jihad and Religious conversions.

RSS Sarakaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, Kshetra Sanghachalak V Nagaraj, Dakshin Madhya Kshetra Karyavaha Na. Thippeswamy, VHP working president Alok Kumar and VHP Leader MB Puranik and other prominent personalities expressed their deep condolences to the demise of Sri Keshava Hegde.
