UDUPI: The protest against anti-Hindu policy of the central government took place in front of District collector’s office on 10th Novemmber 2010 between 11 am to 1 pm. About 3,000 Swayum Sewakas, memebrs of Rastra Sevika Samiti and other memebrs of Sangha pariwar actively participated in the protest. Sri Sudhirji, Saha Pranth Pracharak was the main speaker. Sri Kumble Sundar Rao, Ex-president of Samskar Bharathi, Karnataka, Smt. Shashikala Maniyani, from Rastra Sevika Samiti, Sri Surhat Kumar, Syndicate memebr, Tumukur University, Sri Rama Kanchan, Business man from Malpe, Sri Balakrishna Bhat , Ex- MLC, Karnataka, Sri Premanand, President of VishwaHindu Parishat, Udupi distrct were also spoke on the occssion. Sri Sambhu Shetty, Jilla Samgha Chalak presided over the function. An appeal to the Prime minester was made through the district collecter.
Sri Sunil Kumar, President of state Yuva Morch and Members of Legislative Assembly of Bainduru, Kundapura, Udupi and Kaup constituencies were also present during the protest.
